Heavy Sigh, a poem; and another poem
This is a poem called Heavy Sigh, also a bonus poem.
Heavy Sigh Today is my sixth grade girlfriend's birthday. I remember the most least important dates and yet the most important dates fly by until next Saturday when it all comes rushing back. 3 dream birds in the sky: one red, one white, one blue. A green dot in the sky: one torch, one string, one shoe. The alligator is the elephant in this room, one room over from Houston and rover and one room over from one lonesomeloverloser hearing what lures and smelling rancid cheese. I wonder if Hailey remembers me; last I heard of a black haired freckled weird girl smoking rolled up plastic "cigarettes" was dreaming of birds. Birds and bees and rancid cheese.
