2 more poems from me again
Here are two poems that I've been workshopping this week, they are called "Missed Connection" and "The Tragedy That Is: A Shy Pee-er."
Missed Connection
There she went, my dyad,
my peanut butter. My curly-
haired, no turn-signal,
maniac, crazy-person.
Honda Fit, it fits her:
Beat up, but clean, 3-foot-
antenna, and an expired
ski-resort parking pass.
There she went, my dyad,
my Ying. My curly-haired,
no turn-signal, maniac,
crazy-person.The Tragedy That Is: A Shy Pee-er
Them, who ought not pee within
an ear's throw of a peer. Them, who
ought not relax with that relief of
their dam's release. Them, who might
not be accompanied by a "bathroom-buddy" in the bar.
For his comfort be dammed beyond his will, he cannot
when he pleases.
That shy pee-er then, on any fateful break,
might enter upon another, a fellow:
"Fellow shy pee-er, how I yearn for a brother. For
nobody knows my woes, and sees me as
less a man."
That fellow shy pee-er; he then may not be inclined
to answer his requested brethren, for then he too
be dammed beyond his own will, for he too
ought not pee within an ear's throw of a peer, especially
a shy pee-er peer. Forth, two in never-ending agony--NAY,
he will flush, wash his hands, and exit, as though satisfied.
monthly update to come out tomorrow.
